Seventeen-year-old Taisiya is being treated in the children's ward of a psychiatric clinic. She suffers from bulimia. The girls in her room, whiling away the days locked away, share stories. Taya recalls the past summer at the dacha: Zakhar, the young man whose heart beats unevenly; Lyusya, her best friend. She also reflects on the illness she hid from everyone for so long. Now, retelling her story to the girls in the ward and talking with the doctor, Taya gradually, one by one, tries to find the keys to her illness.
