There's nothing wrong with staring at a work of art. Quite the contrary: it's the least you can do. Stop. Breathe. Relax. Don't think, just look, let it in. Take in your surroundings, feel the space in front of you, clear your mind, let your inner monologue fade into the background, and let your eyes adjust.
