Majestic dragons, divine emperors, spirits of mountains, rivers, and seas... More than two thousand years ago, the Chinese told stories comparable in complexity to the myths of Ancient Greece. But they were completely different. Intertwined with other religions and teachings—Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism—ancient Chinese myths changed and acquired new motifs and plots. Despite all the changes, these legends never died and continue to amaze to this day.
