You probably know journalist Katerina Gordeeva from her YouTube channel 'Say Gordeeva.' You may have also seen her film 'Man and War.' It is the story of Ukrainian refugees who were deprived of their families and homes by the Russian army's invasion. Hundreds of interviews conducted by Katerina Gordeeva were not included in the film. She began working on this book with them. And the number of characters only grew—because the war never ends.
