Philip Hook

Philip Hook is a senior specialist in the Impressionist department and a member of the board of directors of Sotheby’s. He has 35 years of experience in the art world. He has served as a director at Christie’s auction house and has extensive experience in international art transactions. Philip Hook is the author of five novels, including The Ultimate Trophy, a history of Impressionist painting. From 1973 to 2003, he regularly appeared on the BBC television program Antiques Roadshow.
