Joanna Gierak
An artist and designer, author of the “1001” series—elegant and funny illustrated encyclopedias about ants, birds, bees, and fish. Joanna was born and raised in Warsaw, where she studied fine arts. She now lives in Paris and works in a small studio, collaborating with designers, architects, and publishers.
