Caroline Valentiny
Writer Caroline Valantine is from Belgium. She holds a master’s degree in psychology, conducts scientific research, and also teaches. In 2009, she published an autobiographical essay about her own experience of depression in adolescence. In 2015, it was republished under the title Journey to the Edge of Emptiness.
In 2017, Valantine wrote the essay Schizophrenia, Self-Awareness, Intersubjectivity. She currently works as a psychologist at the Catholic University of Louvain. Sleep, My Boy is her debut novel.
