Lyudmila Petranovskaya
Ludmila Vladimirovna Petranovskaya is a Russian psychologist, educator, and publicist, a specialist in family placement.
She graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Tashkent University. She also graduated from the Institute of Psychoanalysis (1998). In the 1990s, she worked on a children’s encyclopedia published by Avanta+ publishing house. For many years, she dealt with the psychological issues of adoption; in 2012, she founded the Institute for the Development of Family Placement, a public organization that trains prospective foster parents. In 2002, she was awarded the President of the Russian Federation Prize in Education.
