Mark Goulston

Dr. Mark Goulston is a well-known professor of psychiatry and business consultant.

At the beginning of his career, he worked with individuals prone to suicide and violence. Drawing on his own experience, he developed the ability to persuade any people, and the methods he used for this formed the basis of the book Just Listen.

For the past 25 years, Dr. Goulston has worked with organizations of various levels and profiles, training employees in the development of listening, persuasion, and “bunker-busting” skills.

He has been included three times in the list of America’s Best Psychiatrists (in 2004, 2005, and 2009). His clients have included companies such as Goldman Sachs, IBM, Bloomberg, Federal Express, Accenture, and many others. He developed his unique method while working with FBI and U.S. police negotiators.
