Massi Sudzhata

Sujata Massey is an American writer and author of detective novels.

She was born in 1964 in Sussex, England, and emigrated with her family to the United States at the age of 5. She lived for some time in Japan, where she studied Japanese and taught English. There she began writing her first novel in the series about Rei Shimura (The Salaryman's Wife), a Californian born to a Japanese father and an American mother, who settled in Japan to deal in antiques.
