Tom Gauld

Scottish artist Tom Gauld studied illustration in Edinburgh and then at the Royal College of Art in London.

In 2001, together with Simone Lia, he founded the small publishing house Cabanon Press, where he began publishing his own books.

Tom Gauld currently works with publications such as The New Yorker, The Believer, The New York Times, and Granta. For several years now, he has been drawing a comic series for the Saturday edition of The Guardian, and over the past year the largest independent Canadian publisher, Drawn and Quarterly, has published two of his books.
