The fateful king and queen were trying to have a child. The couple had a great day when the wine girl and the witch gave them a small wooden robot and an enchanted Polino princess. But there is only one chain: every now and then, when she falls asleep, the princess transforms into the original field. You can only wake them up with the charming words: “Wake up, little Polo, wake up.”
The robot and the princess are inseparable, until one day I’ll sleep for the princess-Polno, it’s hard not to take him to an unknown land. Now her brother is responsible for finding her and turning her back to the kingdom. Brother and sister are trying to bring one home at a time, and on the way they are relying on endless benefits associated with the Mushroom Queen, the Charming Pudding, the Babies at Troyand's Bush and the Old Lady in Plyashtsia.
This is the first picture book for children by the famous graphic artist Tom Gold, inspired by the tale of nothing he saw for his daughters. In his words, “I set out to create a book filled with three different types of books: books that I remember loving in my childhood, books that my daughters squealed over, and books that I already need when I’m old enough. I want the book to have a special atmosphere, but at the same time function like a classic fairy tale for the night.”

An amazingly sweet book. I praised the Polino princess, I received all the benefits that I had not received before, and I also supported this family of beetles. – Neil Gaiman
A wooden masterpiece – Lemon Snicket
Tom Gold created a classic fairy-tale picture for the master, which hits all the senses. In his unique style, he was able to write royalty, robots, vidas, wine-dwellers, trolls, sea captains, foxes, ghosts and... beetles (!) in a beautiful, marvelous, and ever-useful Satisfied with the story. And everything, of course, is topped with a gift bow of brotherly love. – Oliver Jeffers
Tom Gold is one of the greatest contemporary witnesses, and everything that we can do so well is here – beautiful, spluttering, masterfully delivered, and breathing completely independently. I'll be late for that. – John Klassen
I didn’t know that the world needed another fairy tale until I read this funny, beautiful, thorough book – Carson Ellis
The book was translated into 14 months of the world, and another 6 translations from robots.
