Aleksey Salnikov

Alexey Borisovich Salnikov is a Russian poet and prose writer. He was a student of the well-known writer and teacher Evgeny Turenko. He is the author of books of poetry and prose. He has published in the almanac Babylon, in the journals Vozdukh, Ural, and Uralskaya Nov, as well as in issues of the anthology Modern Ural Poetry.

Since 1984, Alexey Salnikov lived in the settlement of Gornouralsky in Sverdlovsk Oblast, and later in Nizhny Tagil. He completed two years of study at an agricultural academy, and studied for one semester under Yuri Kazarin at the Department of Literary Creativity of Ural University. Since 2005, he has lived in Yekaterinburg.
