The Petrovs in and Around the Flu (Petrovy v Grippe)

The Petrovs are an ordinary family. He is a car mechanic, she is a librarian, they have a son, but they do not live together. It would seem that there is nothing special. But everyday reality explodes the moment the family gets the flu, and life turns out to be full of madness, fantasy and surrealism.

The film 'The Petrovs with the Flu' is a mixture of genres, a combination of the incompatible, a completely new cinematic language. A unique film about the past and the present, about nostalgia, accurately showing the diversity of the Russian soul.
