A new book from author and illustrator Roman Belyaev is about how bridges are built. How bridges are built, what problems they solve, and the locations of the world's most famous and unusual bridges are located. Roman explains them consistently and clearly, page after page, traveling with the reader through times and countries.
All that's left is to admire the wonders of engineering and the beauty of these structures with him! After all, bridge builders often have to seek (and find!) truly unique and original solutions. And each bridge has its own fascinating story to tell.
Roman Belyaev's first book, 'How Does a Lighthouse Work?', has already been reprinted numerous times in Russian and published in several languages. Its English edition won the 2019 STEAM Children's Book Prize as the most informative children's book.
