An elderly bull terrier, a young Labrador, and a Siamese cat leave their sheltered home and embark on a journey fraught with deadly danger. Overcoming hunger, escaping from wild predators, swimming across rivers, and foraging for food on their own, these animals, accustomed to the comforts of home, stubbornly make their way through the remote and sparsely populated territories of Canada toward a goal known only to them. These four-legged friends will find themselves on the brink of death more than once, but they will move on, guided by instinct, mutual assistance, and love for their owners.
