The classic fairy tale about a girl in love with magical hair and an evil stepmother unfolds against a backdrop of illustrations in the style of the famous Czech artist Alphonse Mucha. Rapunzel's curls, like plant stems, avoid straight lines, and the color palette of the illustrations directly references the artist's most famous works. Compare the pictures from the book with the original works of the great master, look for similarities and spot the differences.
In addition to the book, you will find a free virtual VoiceBook Museum. Simply point your camera at the QR code. In the museum hall, you can approach the paintings, examine them, and listen to an audio guide developed by an art historian especially for children!
