Findus, like any kitten (and child), is very curious. Therefore, it is not surprising that the German publishing house Edel Kids Books has launched a popular science book series with beloved characters. Findus is interested in the world around him, nature, animals, letters and numbers, and also how everything works and why it is that way. These are the topics of four books co-authored by Sven Nordqvist and Steffi Korda.

Sven Nordqvist needs no introduction, but Steffi Korda is a German writer, editor and producer, author of popular science books with famous characters: Peppa Pig, the inhabitants of Sesame Street and many others. Steffi Korda works with many major publishing houses around the world.

Petsson, Findus and the Mykles that you will meet on the pages of these books are taken from a German cartoon series. The first series of these cartoons was released in 2000 and consists of two seasons and 26 episodes. Some of them have been dubbed into Russian and are available online.
