According to an old Finnish legend, the multicolored shimmer of the Northern Lights is cast across the sky by the fluffy tails of… foxes! And not just any foxes, but magical foxes of the Borealis family, who have lived for a thousand years on Mount Ivari, in the village of Lieske, in the Finnish province of Ostrobothnia. The last of the Borealis foxes broke with ancient tradition and incurred the curse of the god of thunder and lightning, Ukko: the angry god stripped her of her ability to light the dark sky. The sky went dark, and the village of Lieske was deserted. A brother and sister, Olli and Titta, the pheasants, decide to bring back the fox and the lights. So how, I wonder, will they accomplish this?
