War. Terrible and hateful.

Ernst Graeber, an ordinary German soldier, is going on leave for three weeks for the first time in two years of war.

Three priceless weeks – time to live!..

He leaves to find himself at war again – in a city where there are endless bombings… In a city where residents are afraid to take an extra breath, where you can never trust anyone with your thoughts and feelings, otherwise – execution…

But these three weeks are like a whole life, in which Ernst becomes a completely different person, having found love, happiness and short-lived peace… To return to the front, to go to another time – the time to die…
