The Moomin stories created by Tove Jansson have earned well-deserved fame among Russian readers, and today, admirers of the famous Swedish-language writer from Finland have the opportunity to experience a side of her work that is little known in Russia – comics. The illustrated story 'Moomintroll and the End of the World' was published in the newspaper Ny Tid in 1947-1948 and presents in an original form the plot of a cosmic threat to the world and its miraculous salvation.
