2020. An infected mouse escapes from the Institute of Functional Immortality, where a drug to extend Putin's life is being developed. An apocalypse occurs in Moscow: most of the city's inhabitants die, some survive, and the rest turn into zombies. Now they can barely see, but they run fast, hunt in droves, hear acutely, and smell very well. The story's heroes are survivors caught in the apocalypse in different parts of Moscow. They don't know each other, but they are moving in the same direction—towards where they can still find safety.
