'On the Banks of the Rio Piedra...' is the first novel in the 'On the Seventh Day' trilogy, which also includes 'Veronica Decides to Die' and 'The Devil and Senorita Prim.'
This novel is about love, about how it is the most important thing in our lives, and how through it we can come to God just as easily as through serving Him as a miracle-working monk. It's also about how sooner or later each of us must overcome our fears and make a Choice.
