Yuri Mamleev is a recognized classic of Russian literature, the creator of the genre of metaphysical realism. In the 1990s and early 2000s, he actively collaborated with glossy magazines, including Afisha and Playboy, writing short stories for them. Some of these stories have never been published since. 'In This World' is a cross-section of Yuri Mamleev's late work, the first collection of short fiction from this period.
