In this issue, the Ornament team decided to look at Anderson's work from a new angle and make some discoveries. In the 2000s, he often filmed about families where adults, children, and foxes go through difficult events like divorce, the death of loved ones, and midlife crises. Recently, he has been talking about the destruction of the old world, and throughout his creative career, about love.

This issue is divided into three chapters plus a prologue that covers all of the director's films, from his debut, 'Bottle Rocket,' to 'Asteroid City.' The authors explain where to look for meaning in new films and why they are better than audience ratings suggest.
