Paths, Crossroads and Dead Ends of Russian Women's Literature (Puti Pereputya i Tupiki)
22.22£
Russian literature written by women has relatively recently become a fully-fledged and legitimate object of study in Russian philology. Irina Savkina was one of the first researchers to analyze the phenomenon of female creativity in Russian culture and to develop the necessary scholarly tools. This publication is a collection of the author's selected articles, written between 1998 and 2020, devoted to a critical rethinking of various genres of Russian women's literature: prose, poetry, and memoirs. The collection not only introduces the author to her scholarly achievements but also provides insight into the range of issues and questions that have been and remain relevant subjects of debate in Russian-language gender studies. Irina Savkina holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Tampere (Finland) and a Candidate of Philosophical Sciences.
