Various practitioners tirelessly repeat the importance of stopping being a victim, working on self-esteem, and starting to discuss our needs as equals. There's a lot of information out there, but we still experience terrible remorse, fear conflict, and prefer to remain silent or agree to fulfill yet another request. The issue of personal boundaries remains a pressing one: at work, in love, and in family, we struggle to recognize manipulation and protect ourselves from emotional abuse. Enough!
