Robert Chaldini
Robert Cialdini studied at the University of Wisconsin and the University of North Carolina, and received his doctorate in psychology from Columbia University. He taught at Ohio State University, the University of California, San Diego, the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California, and the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
For many years he studied the general theoretical principles of successful sales and, on the basis of his research, developed a training program. Cialdini’s work Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion became a classic in social psychology; in it, the mechanisms of motivation, information processing, and decision-making are subjected to modern analysis. The scholar delivered his lectures on the psychology of influence with great success to employees of companies such as IBM, Coca-Cola, Kodak, Texas Instruments, and Advanta.
