On a cloudy day, Dina went for a walk with her mother and little brother. She was swinging alone on the swing when a woman with a golden retriever, Oringo, came to the playground. Dina never thought that she would find new friends that day and learn from Oringo's owner about Goldie, an infinitely loyal guide dog. Goldie saved his owner on September 11, 2001, the day of the world tragedy that took thousands of lives.
The story is based on the true story of the guide dog Salty. On the day the planes hit the World Trade Center, he led his blind owner, Omar Eduardo Rivera, down the emergency stairwell from the 71st floor of the burning North Tower.
