The collection includes Kharms's stories from his 'Anecdotes from the Life of Pushkin' (1939), the play 'Pushkin and Gogol,' and anecdotes by Vladimir Pyatnitsky and Natalya Dobrokhotova, long attributed to Kharms. These short humorous stories explore such classic authors as Lermontov, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, and Gogol. In addition, the collection includes supplements 'The Young Years of Old Man Derzhavin' and 'Derzhavin and Pushkin,' as well as an article by the organizer of the 'Science of Comics' project, Alexei Pavlovsky.
