This book contains O. Henry's Christmas works in the best Russian translations and in their most complete form, including not only widely known short stories such as 'The Gift of the Magi' but also the rarely published Christmas miniatures 'Postscripts.' The collection is supplemented by an article by Yevgeny Zamyatin about O. Henry and information about the translators, who usually remain in the shadows but convey the author's voice and his Christmas joy to the reader.
