Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's fairy tale 'The Little Prince' has firmly entered the golden fund of world classics: for more than 70 years, this story of friendship and humanity continues to enchant both young and adult readers. Thanks to the inimitable visual language of Joann Sfar, Exupéry's work is filled with new shades of meaning.

The adaptation by Sfar, one of the most famous French comic book authors, screenwriter, director, and winner of the Will Eisner and René Goscinny awards, was recognized as the best graphic novel of 2008 for young readers at the International Comics Festival in Angoulême, and was also included in the school reading list for middle school students by the French Ministry of Education.

The Russian edition of the graphic adaptation of the story uses the classic translation by Nora Gal.
