The Searcher (Iskatel)

The beautiful countryside of Western Ireland, a laid-back rural life, an idyll rare in our time. Kelvin Hooper, a middle-aged former Chicago cop, is drawn by a twist of fate into this quiet village with its charming, colorful characters. He moves to the island, dreaming of picturesque landscapes, fresh air, peace, and warm conversation with the witty locals. He ends up taking on the very job he tried in vain to escape: a local teenager turns to him for help in finding his missing brother.
