His Last Days (Yego Poslednie Dni)

The new book by the winner of the NOS and New Horizons awards is a novel about a writer. To achieve artistic authenticity for the book he's working on and to credibly describe his stay in a psychiatric hospital, he fakes a mental disorder. But getting into the hospital turns out to be much easier than leaving it. 'His Last Days' is a novel about the boundaries of mental health and the nature of creativity. It explores how little a person understands not only the reality around them, but also themselves.
