Yura returns to the pioneer camp of his youth twenty years later. In the ruins of the past, he hopes to find a way to the present, to the man he once loved. This story is about how not everything in the USSR was smooth, orderly, and impersonal. That there were experiences, passions, desires, and feelings that didn't fit into the moral framework on the path to a 'bright future.' And that this future turned out not to be so bright.
