Russian Alphabet (Russkaya Azbuka)

The alphabet helps students learn printed and handwritten letters and their sound values, learn to read simple syllables and words together and understand what they read correctly, learn to read and understand short texts, and write simple words and sentences. Currently, elementary schools have a whole series of alphabet books and primers from various authors. But for several decades now, the alphabets teachers call 'the Goretsky, Kiryushkin, and Shanko alphabets' have held the top spot.
