This tender and allegorical story about a thimble-sized girl is accompanied by phantasmagorical and ethereal illustrations in the style of the Russian-French artist Marc Chagall.
The naive and inspired work of the great artist inspired the illustrator to tell the story of the wanderings of tiny Thumbelina, her kind heart, and her small fairytale world. Leafing through the book's pages, children can become acquainted with the style of avant-garde painting and discover Marc Chagall.
In addition to the book, you can enjoy the free virtual VoiceBook Museum. Simply point your camera at the QR code. In the museum hall, you can approach the paintings, examine them, and listen to an audio guide developed by an art historian especially for children!
