'What's in the book? I've gathered together fragments of landscapes, situations that happened to me recently, memories that emerged from chaos, and now I'm throwing them to you, my heirs (and that's anyone: prisoners, workers, foreigners, prostitutes, soldiers, policemen, revolutionaries), I'm throwing them to you.' — Eduard Limonov 'The Old Man Travels' is the latest book written by Eduard Limonov.
According to the author, it is based on 'bright flashes of consciousness' illuminating his childhood, his years in Paris and New York, and his recent trips to Italy, France, Spain, Mongolia, Abkhazia, and other countries. The book is being published in the author's edition. Punctuation has been brought into line with modern Russian language standards.
