J. D. Selinger (1919–2010) - American writer, known for the novel “The Catcher in Life”, as well as for his writing. His remaining volume was published in 1965; and the rest of the interview dates back to 1980 rock. The collection “Nine Evidences” (1953) includes well-known texts of short prose by J. D. Selinger, the main themes of which are the internal experiences of the hero, his attempt to understand his essence, to discover his place in this world, try to write yourself into the world. The conflict of military actions and the legacy of participation in the war is depicted in the depressive story “A Miraculous Day for the Banana Fish” and the story of the guesses “For Esme - with love and all the madness.” The shouts that grow up in the hour of maturity, and the fear of not fitting into the tired world are sanctified in the story of untruthful worlds “The Crooked Jock in Connecticut”, stories about inclusion “At Home” and stories about the little genius “Teddy”. The leitmotifs of these texts are love, irony, masculinity, fear and alienation.
