Short stories always held a special place in Hemingway's work. This collection includes stories from various years, including his signature pieces, 'The Snows of Kilimanjaro' and 'The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber.' As always, Hemingway's prose is deeply personal, largely autobiographical. These stories reflect the writer's love of Africa, his passion for hunting, and, of course, his emotional experiences, his relationships with women, and his memories of Paris and the war.
