'Fiesta' ('Fiesta. The Sun Also Rises') is one of Hemingway's most famous novels, a kind of literary manifesto for the 'lost generation' of the 1920s.
'Fiesta' is an autobiographical novel. It is based on the writer's passion for bullfighting, his friendship with a Spanish matador, and the experiences caused by his separation from his wife. Almost all the characters in the novel are Hemingway's friends.
