Penguins are great debaters! They argue about everything, even God. Does God see everything? Does he make the rules? Does he even exist? While they're arguing over these issues, it starts to rain, followed by the Great Flood! Of course, God told Noah: 'Build a huge Ark and take on board two of every living thing,' and Dovewing brought the penguins a pair of tickets. But there are three of them! Never mind, penguins don't give up their own! And they find a way to sneak a third on board—what if God doesn't notice?
'The Ark Leaves at Eight Sharp' was originally a radio play, but after its resounding success in theaters, its author, German playwright Ulrich Hub, adapted it into a book. This hilarious story was first broadcast by Samokat in 2013, and plays based on it have been staged in many Russian theaters and continue to be a great success.
