What happens in a family when a child is born who is not adapted to life? What should you do if you are one of the children in this family? How can you love, and is it even possible, someone who will never be like everyone else? What should you do if they often evoke more hostility than pity? How should you behave with someone who is forever doomed?
The author delicately and precisely shows how the essence of each family member is revealed in connection with the birth of a special child. The older brother, who sacrifices his own interests to protect the baby, and the younger sister, who rebels and becomes embittered—each of them adapts according to the structure of their hearts. As does the one born after, the one who will rid the family of the ghosts of the past.
