Never (Nikogda)

Thirteen-year-old Fiorella has never had anything bad happen to her in her life. She's never had to deal with her parents' divorce, moving, or separation from her friends; she's never had any serious illnesses or broken bones; she's never had to repeat a grade or be bullied at school. Then suddenly, Fiorella's mother dies. In just one day, the family's calm and familiar life is turned upside down. Fiorella is forced to become an adult and take on the care of her younger sister, Maggie, because after the tragedy, the girls' father plunges into a deep depression and is unable to care for them. Every day, Fiorella, dealing with grief, struggles with herself: she just wants to go to school, hang out with her friends, fall in love... But she seems torn between the responsibility that has fallen upon her and her desire to live the life of a normal teenager.
