'Diary of a Genius' is the title of Salvador Dalí's memoirs, published in Paris in 1964. Containing entries from 1952 to 1963, the diary serves as a kind of monument to the author's life, erected to himself. The full text of the diary is enriched by marginal appendices, included by the author himself for the first edition: 'The Science of Farting,' 'In Praise of a Fly,' 'Dalian Mysticism...,' as well as a comparative table of the merits of past and future artists.
