Lord of the Flies (Volodar Mukh) (на укр.)

William Golding is an English writer, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature. He gained worldwide fame as the author of the novel “Volodar Mukh” - a true masterpiece of world literature. This is a novel-parable, a novel-symbol, a novel-dystopia... Perhaps, naizhorstokisha. Following a plane crash, a number of children are stranded on a deserted island that looks like a little piece of paradise. An endless ocean, tropical palm trees, a crystalline jerelo, a secret furnace... Everything is here, except for grown-ups. The small community immediately has two leaders. The struggle for power begins. And soon children will forget not only about friendship and decency, but about human kindness... The line between what separates a person from a creature is even thin. And fear the demand of the wrong beast that is calling here. Much more terrible than the one in the middle of the skin...
