We present to our readers a new Russian edition of Franz Kafka's celebrated novel, 'The Trial.' This is the version in which the novel has been published in German editions for the past fifteen years. The book includes an afterword by A. Belobratov, 'The Trial of 'The Trial': Franz Kafka and His Novel-Fragment.'
