In 'The Titan,' the second installment of the 'Trilogy of Desire,' Frank Cowperwood arrives in Chicago with an insatiable thirst for profit. He pursues his goal with disregard for others, adhering to the maxim 'any means are fair.' Accustomed to getting his way, he operates according to the same pattern in politics, finance, and love, and nothing, it seems, can stop him.
