New York composer Arki Levine is struggling with a forced separation from his wife. One day, he finds himself in the atrium of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), where Marina Abramović's celebrated performance, 'The Artist is Present,' is taking place.

Watching the performers and meeting other visitors, he gradually begins to realize what's missing in his life and what he needs to do. Building a love story around a multi-day performance in which the passage of time plays a crucial role is an incredibly original idea. I absolutely love this book.
