There are the living, the dead, and those who go to sea. They sail of their own free will and know their place, where they belong and where they shouldn't, without question, without a shadow of doubt or surprise. The living busily build lives, the dead lie quietly in the earth. And sailors go to sea.
Who are the Ultramarines? Why does the main character, a ship's captain, renounce life on land and forever yearn for the ship? What secret is she hiding? Why does the ship suddenly begin to behave strangely and slow down in the middle of a voyage? And where does this extra person suddenly appear on board from?..
A novel-pause, necessary for everyone to look into their hearts in silence and allow themselves at least once to deviate from course and drift on the ocean of their own loneliness.
